Everything Rainbow...

Aisha goes through different themes that might last months. The rainbow theme is one of them. She would spent hours and days creating multiple objects with the rainbow shape and colours. In the beginning, there were faces with smiles made out of rainbow. When she is in a bad mood, those smiles become frowns at a flip of a rainbow. Then she moved on to objects like a lamp, telephone, chain and harp. Or animals and insects like a goose, zebra, butterfly and spider. Remarkably, she went on to create rainbow alphabets (all 26) and numerals out of them. It didn’t stop there. She ended up creating 3D sculptures and acrylic paintings on large canvases. You can view physical samples of her work in a special booth dedicated to Aisha at The Artground, Goodman Art Centre, Singapore.
